| MARCH 14, 2013 -- Weather has not been kind to Mountain County Pomona. The Feb. 10 Litchfield Grange Open House and the Feb. 11 Pomona meeting at Whigville both had to be postponed and canceled respectively because of the “Blizzard of 2013.” A new date for the Litchfield Open House has not yet been set, but we are hoping to find a date in a more weather friendly month!
The next meeting of Mountain County Pomona has been rescheduled for SATURDAY, MARCH 23 beginning at noon with a luncheon served by the members of Riverton Grange ($5 per person). The meeting will begin as soon after the meal as possible. Those planning to attend are encouraged to contact Todd Gelineau at (860) 626-0326 or email - Granger@CTStateGrange.org to let us know how many to expect for the meal. It is not required but is greatly appreciated! Those not planning to have lunch should plan to arrive between 12:30 and 12:45 PM.
The program for the afternoon will be the Community Grange and Pomona Grange Combined Schools of Instruction conducted by State Master Jody Cameron and General Deputy Todd Gelineau. It is not necessary to be a Fifth Degree member to attend this meeting, so ALL Grange members are encouraged to attend the meeting.
