New officers elected at our last meeting are as follows: Master, Eleanor Davis; Overseer Linda Harkins; Lecturer, Glenna Bruno; Treasurer, Penny Bennett; Secretary, Pat Valys. David Griffiths was elected to the Executive Committee for a three year term.
The fundraising dinner on July 13 was a cold dinner of salads, etc. For our Grange dinners you don’t have to tip and with a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. These dinners will be held every month until fall on the second Wednesday. Also planned – YoYo lessons. An apple festival and Farmer’s Market on Oct. 8th and Nov. 12 respectively.
Other Killingly events will be announced at a later date. Health note: Exercise to keep your brain sharp. As we get older, this is a much needed exercise or activity. |
