Congratulations to Dan Bezio (Grange member) who won Best in Show with his photo of a red squirrel at the 53rd Annual Beacon Grange Fair. Congratulations to Mary-Irene Clark, Flora, for winning Best in Show runner up at the 53rd Annual Beacon Grange Fair, for her photo of her dog at the Litchfield Pet Parade on July 4.

Apple Peeling Contest at the 53rd Annual Beacon Grange Fair: Ryan Smith of Northfield (1st), Grace Richard of Northfield (2nd) and Master Bea Neri of Torrington (3rd).

Congratulations to Grangers Amanda Bezio and Josh Tito for receiving their food prep certification. Selling lunches and baked good at Beacon Grange events.

Beacon Grange had a successful and festive Christmas in July event on July 29.

Beacon Grange is selling aged firewood for $650. If interested, contact Treasurer Ron Neri at 860.782.1492 for more information.

Beacon Grange is seeking donations/volunteers for facility maintenance, light maintenance of the grounds and landscaping. If interested in donating or volunteering for facility maintenance, please contact Overseer Chuck Bezio at 860.605.5368 for more information.

Beacon Grange would like to thank all the sponsors, vendors and patrons who attended the Grange Fair, Community Tag Sale and Christmas in July.

A very merry special thanks to our Steward Dan Bezio who braved the 10 day heat wave in July as Santa Claus to bring a festive air and cheer to our holiday event.
