Apr. 3: Spring Has Sprung

Apr. 17: Neighbor’s Night– Grange Week

Our last meeting held in the dining room with 14 members present, 2 absent. Hopefully we will be meeting in the main hall the rest of the year until at least Christmas. More on that later.

Now it’s almost Spring and the weather has been good. I’m sure some of you “gardeners” are already into the seed catalogs and getting seedlings started in the “hot beds.”

Feb. 25 we held our Bluegrass with dinner of curried chicken with rice and plenty of desserts. It was a full house. Good music, happy folks and a profitable night.

Feb. 28 was Fat Tuesday and we held a “shrove supper.” Good attendance and lots of pancakes, muffins, coffee cake, etc. Grangers love to eat. Bruce Kohl, our chef and head cook did a good job!

Coming up on March 6 will be Ides of March and Tax Time. Regular meeting at 7:30 P.M. On March 8, a pork dinner with all the fixings. Pat Valys was in charge. More bluegrass was on March 25 with a dinner.

We now have a refreshment schedule. March 1st, Josie Stenbach. April 1 is Millie Briggs. May 1 Nancy Arena. Second May meeting is Gert Blain. Other meetings will be filled in by members willing to do so. A thank you note from Friends of Assisi for our donation recently.
