| MARCH 6, 2024 -- In January with heavy hearts, we draped our charter in memory of one of our oldest member Gertrude Blain. Gert was a member of our Grange for 35 years. She arranged the monthly booking of Nick Anderson and the Shady Creek blue grass concerts. Her warm hugs and beautiful smile will be truly missed.
Here at Killingly Grange will have been very busy with a variety of events. On Saturday 2/10 we hosted a country music show featuring Ken Atkins and Honky-Tonk Kind band, and on 2/27 there will be a bluegrass concert featuring Nick Anderson and the Shady Creek (we host a blue grass concert the fourth Saturday of every month.) On March 2 we have square dancing starting at 7 pm (we host square dancing the first Saturday evening of the month) On Saturday March 9th Ken Atkins and the Honky Tonk band will be returning with a show here at our Grange. March 21 we are looking forward to hosting a play for a local home school group. March 24 we will be having a beginner’s sewing group (details to follow)
We are also in the process of planning our annual Lenton fish dinners. Please join us for any of our events.
