National Grange Launches E-Membership Program

By Stephanie Wilkins, National Grange (11/19/10)

  NOVEMBER 22, 2010 --

Ed Luttrell (Sandy, OR), president of the National Grange, announced at the 144 th National Grange Convention held in Charlotte, NC, that the Grange has launched an E-Membership Program, which is open to the general public.

E-Membership is a new class of membership that informs members of legislative work from a non-partisan point of view as well as reports the latest achievements of the Grange.

E-Membership offers access to many of the quality financial benefits that Grange members have traditionally enjoyed for years. It also offers the opportunity of being an important part of America’s oldest family-based organization.

E-Members receive newsletters directly to their e-mail, stay in touch with what the National Grange is doing across the country, receive information on a variety of issues, including the bi-monthly “The New Grange,” and the highly-respected monthly legislative newsletter “View from the Hill.”

Established in 1867, the National Grange is the oldest agricultural and rural community service organization and meets annually to confer the Seventh Degree (the highest Degree of the Order), to develop its legislative policy for the coming year, and to recognize the talents of its members. There are over 200,000 members in 2,700 communities in 40 states throughout the United States.
