At the Grange Rally held earlier this spring, the State Master separated the attendees into seven or more groups.  Each group was responsible for crafting their own elevator speech for the Grange.

After each group presented its speech, everyone voted for their favorite.  The most popular speech is below.  While you may want to make it sound more like something you would say, we should all have a speech like this at the ready whenever someone asks, “What IS the Grange?”

“The Grange is a familly fraternity the encompasses these qualities:  friendship, community service, leadership, spiritualism, patriotism and opportunities for educational, legislative and individual growth.”
