Granges support Dogs for the Deaf

By Samantha Johnson, National Grange Sales, Benefits and Programs Director, (The New Grange - July/August 2011)

  AUGUST 25, 2011 --

The National Grange is supporting Dogs for the Deaf.  This year’s Dogs for the Deaf Workshop will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, at the National Grange Convention in Oklahoma.

Robin Dickson will be presenting along with her demonstration dog, Bonsai.

You will be able to find out about the special work of this nationwide charity — rescuing dogs and training them to help people with hearing loss, autism, and a variety of other physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

Dogs for the Deaf have been rescuing homeless dogs and professionally training them to enhance lives for over 33 years. They have rescued and placed over 3,000 dogs.

Learn more about the National Grange’s special partner and watch how these very special dogs makes lives so much better and safer. Please come and join us!
