| AUGUST 12, 2012 -- Twenty-three of us and our “adults” went to our fishing Derby. No surprise that Andrew Hawkins won first for the longest fish. Emily Bonner came in second (but, she DID catch the first one!), and Jonathan Sarette placed third. Congratulations to our winners! One of our members hooked her own back, luckily just a scratch. However, she informed us that her fishing days are OVER!
Sister Kay Ruff inspected us on July 6th. It is always nice to see her, she is one of those people who make you feel better for having spoken to them. We had a nice program including jokes by Russell Sharpe who is too funny; and a skit performed by several volunteers. Always a good time when friends are there, feel free to drop on by. |
