| OCTOBER 14, 2012 -- We initiated 2 new members at our August meeting. Welcome to Karyn Stamper and Alisa Bessette. Alisa has been to several of our events and meetings, Karyn has been to a couple. Both girls will be assets to our membership, I’m sure!
We paid for the magacian and moon bounce for the fair. The fair was a wonderful event for our families! The kids had a lot of fun, even in the heat.
Our garden is growing. Should be picked clean, soon. It is so nice to be able to reap our rewards.
We rescheduled our Sept. 7th meeting to the 14th, because of Sterling’s Family Day. We will be installed by family members at that time. We will also be handing out awards. Several badges have been earned, a couple of Super JG pins, and the crafts from last year’s State session. They were never judged at State, so we had them judged and will be awarding prizes. We’ve had a relaxing summer and are now geared up for a busy fall. Before you know it, we will be putting on our Christmas play. The door to our meetings are always open. |
