| OCTOBER 3, 2012 -- WOW! IT’S OCTOBER. I don’t know where the summer has gone. This also means it is the start of a new Grange year – time for a new start. What happened last year or the year before doesn’t matter. We all need to strive to make this the best year our Grange has had. We have to work together and build our attendance. We have to get some positive publicity in our communities and to do this we have to play an active part in the happenings there. The Grange has many good programs. Let’s take advantage of them.
October also means it is time for our State Grange Session. I hope your Grange will be represented when we pass out the Lecturers’ Awards at the Celebration Banquet on Saturday Night. If you can’t make any other part of the session, I suggest you come on Saturday. It is a jam-packed day which will include the Installation of your new State Officers. Entertainment for the banquet will be by Kim Myers. For those of you who were at Leaders’ Conference, this is the gentleman who got such rave reviews from those attending and I am sure you will want to hear from him again. If you didn’t get to that conference, you should come and see just how great he is. |
