| JUNE 6, 2014 -- The 99th Annual North East Grange Lecturers’ Conference will held August 4, 5 & 6 at Keuka College in Keuka Park, New York.
This will be the first time that New York will be hosting since joining the Northeast Region. Hopefully we will have a good attendance to help support them. For the last few years they have had to travel the farthest distance to reach the conference. Now it is our turn to travel. Remember, last year we didn’t even have to leave the State.
Our program will be presented on Wednesday morning. It is entitled “Simpler Times”. I still need suggestions for numbers and would appreciate knowing ahead of time who is attending. My thanks to all who have already sent me numbers and let me know if they will be going this year. Registration forms for the conference must be in by July 10th. I suggest mailing them by July 1st to make sure they arrive on time. In the mean time I would appreciate knowing who is attending so I can contact people regarding parts in the program.
Keuka College is in the Finger Lakes and swimming will be available So, bring your bathing suits.
The price of the conference remains the same as last year – For the full conference it is $195.00 per person for a double room and $205.00 for a single room.
I have checked out three different sources for directions. They are all a little different, but all start out going west on I-84. The college is approximately 300 miles away and between 5 and 5½ hours. I will send directions to everyone who registers to go.
If you plan to go up on Sunday and stay over at a hotel, I suggest you make your reservations now as this is a busy time of the year in that area.
