| October 5, 2015 -- It’s October. October is one of my favorite months. The weather is cooler and the trees show off their vibrant colors. It is also the start of a new Grange year. That means everyone gets a fresh start. If things went wrong last year, that is all in the past.
I have had several reports from Lecturers who have not received their packet for 2016. These were given to the Pomona Lecturers at Let’s Celebrate. In the absence of the Pomona Lecturer they were given to your Pomona Master or their representative. If you still haven’t received them, please call or email me and I will see that you get one.
Winners of our Essay and Complete Program contests will be recognized at State Session and will be included in the next Granger. Complete information on the 2016 Contests and Projects will be included in the Lecturers Newsletter for November – December. This same information will appear in the Bluebook. Try to get an early start on these projects. Things usually turn out better when they are not rushed. Plus, it gives you months to think about them and make any changes you feel will make it better.
