| October 7, 2016 -- BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND... I received so many complimentary remarks about our entertainment at last years’ State Session Banquet that I have invited “MOJO” back to entertain us again. Please bring your dancing shoes and dance to your favorites from years gone by or if you prefer just sit and enjoy his music.
Another new Grange year is starting. What a great time to get a fresh start on our projects. Let’s all think positive. Do you remember “The Little Train That Could” from your childhood reading? Well, we can do it too. Think positive about your Grange. Talk positive about your Grange. And, let’s all do positive things. Put on a special program and open it to the public. Put up a display where it will be seen by your townspeople. Visit a convalescent home and put on a program. The residents there will tell their family about it. Now is the time to start on your new Should Auld Acquaintance projects. Living in a convalescent or rest home can make you feel isolated from the real world. If we can take the residents minds off their problems for a few minutes then we have accomplished a lot.
