| November 7, 2016 -- The Lyme Junior Grangers helped out at Take a Vet Fishing at the Bozarh Rod and Gun Club . They raised over $387.00 to help buy fish and had their parents and grandparents make food. They work with the Lebanon Lions , American legion , two Boy Scout troops, Bozrah Rod and Gun members . This group raised $ 2650.00 dollars to buy trout. There were over 100 vets from WWII and up. These vets come from Vet homes and Hospitals. They come from all over the state, and there are people that give their time off to drive the vets to these fishing events.
The kids had a great time and are working on their next projects to feed people for Thanksgiving and getting toys for kids at Christmas. |
