| April 1, 2021 -- No one really wants to come into office under these circumstances, but I do appreciate the opportunity to serve the Connecticut State Grange in the capacity of Lecturer. No one can fill the shoes of Marge. Her dedication to the office and love for the Grange was evident in everything she did.
In thinking about how I can make the best impact while carrying out the program set by Marge, as Lecturers we need to focus on unity. How do we use our abilities and our office to keep ALL members engaged and their interests piqued during, what we hope to be, the final stages of this unprecedented pandemic.
I challenge every Lecturer and Program Director to involve your members in your programs. Bring in outside speakers to address your Grange and community on the hottest of topics in your community. This is a great use for ZOOM!
We need to be creative and innovative in keeping our membership involved, and our job is easy, all we have to do is make it interesting and fun, and who doesn’t like FUN?
