| July 1, 2021 -- Youth interested in public speaking or sign-a-song:
Since our region will not have held a conference, the Public Speaking and Sign-a-Song contests and Grange Baseball are being held
virtually. The contests will be held Saturday, August 14th starting at 9am eastern. Attached is the sign-up for these contests. It will be first-come, first-served to sign up for times. If we run out of time slots they will add more as needed.
Remember:
1) It is NOT a national requirement to qualify at the state level to compete at regional contests. Any Junior or youth/young adult from the region is welcome to enter the contests.
2) Ambassadors/Young Patrons competing at National Convention must do a prepared speech.
3) Youth Officer Team Applicants must do at least an impromptu speech as one of the requirements to apply.
